When Pokerstars introduced the new $600 bonus they also made the clearing requirements easier for micro & low stakes players. For players above the $.25/.50 NL, $.50/1 FL or bigger cash game limits, clearing the Pokerstars bonus is very simple. It’s also easy for active sit-n-go tournament players, offering a 29% return on tournament fees.
As a 100% matching bonus, you can get a bonus equal to that of your deposit amount. If your first deposit is $75, you can get a $75 bonus. If you deposit $600 or more, you can get a $600 bonus. Also, within 90 days of making your first deposit, you can make 2 more deposits that also apply to this bonus. For example, if you deposit $100 today, then another $200 next month, and another $300 the following month, you can still earn the full $600 bonus. Other rooms don’t allow this, and it’s a nice feature of the Pokerstars bonus.
There is a 6 month time limit for earning your Pokerstars bonus, and the bonus is paid in $10 increments.
To clear the requirements of the Pokerstars coupon code, players need to earn 17 VIP Player Points (VPP’s) per dollar in bonus. In cash games, players can earn up to 3 VPP’s per hand, and partial points are awarded for micro-stakes pots. This is one of the improvements recently made to the clearing requirements, allowing micro-stakes players to earn VPP’s, and thus bonus money.
